— THE PROGRAM

The Full Spectrum Aerospace GTAW Certification

Three sequential phases. One continuous credential pathway. No prior welding experience required. Graduates earn documented, independently verified credentials at each milestone — and exit the program as the most comprehensively trained aerospace welders in America.

Full credential upon graduation

Spacetron Art of Aerospace Welding —
Full Spectrum GTAW Certification

AWS D17.1 Class A · Manual, Automatic & Robotic GTAW · Groups IIB, IIIB, IV & VI · Independently verified by third-party RT & PT at every milestone — not self-declared.

Phase I Wks 1–16

Foundational GTAW Mastery — No Prior Experience Required

GTAW fundamentals — arc physics, equipment, torch control, and hand coordination

Metallurgical foundations — stainless steel, aluminum, material behavior

Blueprint reading, weld symbols, cleanroom protocols, and aerospace material handling

Safety, EHS compliance, and aerospace quality system introduction

Transition to AWS D17.1 Class A specification requirements

Phase II Wks 17–28

Primary Certification — Titanium & Reactive Metal Specialist

AWS D17.1 Class A mastery across weld groups IIB, IIIB, IV & VI

Reactive metal behavior — Ti 6AL4V, Inconel 625/718, CRES, exotic alloys

Total immersion chamber science and closed-atmosphere protocols

NDT science and interpretation — PT, RT, Helium Leak Testing

NADCAP quality system and routing sheet operations

Independent capstone — production-grade coupon sets verified by third-party RT & PT

Credential earned

AWS D17.1 Class A GTAW Certification + Spacetron Primary Certification

Phase III Wks 29–52

Master Certification — Human-Rated Flight Hardware Specialist

Closed-atmosphere diagnostics, system-level operation, maintenance & troubleshooting

Vacuum-tight fusion joints and atmospheric verification protocols

Oxygen analyzer operation — zero oxygen confirmed by titanium strike plate

Automatic and robotic GTAW (AGTAW) integration and supervised operation

Capstone Phase 1 — atmospheric certification verified to flight standard

Capstone Phase 2 — flight-critical component execution under Rick Montoya's direct supervision

— FOR INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS

Program Data & Reporting Support

Every student progressing through the Full Spectrum program generates a complete, traceable data package — structured to support cooperative agreement reporting, workforce development grant deliverables, and employer pipeline documentation

Weekly instructor logs

Documenting program delivery against Full Spectrum curriculum milestones — structured to support cooperative agreement progress reporting.

Atmospheric verification records

Continuous O₂ level and purge time logs generated by the TRON system throughout the 52-week program — machine-generated, not manually reported.

NDT capstone documentation

Independent third-party RT and PT certificates at each credential milestone — not self-declared. Issued by a certified NDT laboratory, suitable for compliance records.

Birth Certificate

Full traceability record for every component fabricated during the program — atmosphere logs, oxygen readings, and machine parameters for every weld cycle.

Graduate credential record

AWS D17.1 Class A + Spacetron Full Spectrum GTAW Certification for each graduate — earned by independent NDT at every milestone, fully documented and traceable.

Employment outcome data

Post-graduation placement documentation — employer name, role, and start date — suitable for workforce development program deliverables and grant reporting requirements.

— PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE

Built Around Your Institution's Goals

Every institutional partnership is structured around the specific goals, funding model, and student pipeline of the partnering college or workforce agency. We do not offer a fixed package — we build a partnership that fits. The conversation begins with understanding your program, your students, and your reporting requirements.
